ニューヨークワイン

アメリカ合衆国のワイン産地は西部のカリフォルニヤ州、ワシントン州、オレゴン州が有名です。しかしこの地方のブドウ栽培はレーズン生産目的から出発しています。現在では全米のワインの殆どがこの地域で生産されています。醸造所も巨大で屋外に巨大なワインのステンレスタンクが立並んでいます。一般に低価格ワインの生産が多いようです。１６世紀の北米移民時代から伝統的なワインの生産地はニューヨーク州北部のファイヴ・フィンガー・レイクと東部のロングアイランドです。
